Donald B. Zaycosky is a member of the York Legal Group's Litigation Practice. Mr. Zaycosky supports the firm's nationwide practice, representing state governments. His practice is principally dedicated to the defense of state operated developmental disability and mental health institutions. He has extensive experience defending federal investigations initiated by the Department of Justice as well as the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Mr. Zaycosky has been involved in state and federal litigation in numerous jurisdictions across the country. He has defended class actions and prosecuted claims involving healthcare, securities, civil rights, and product litigation claims, and violations of federal and state disability statutes such as the CRIPA, ADA, IDEA, and Rehab Act. Mr. Zaycosky has also served as a court appointed arbitrator in a variety of matters. Mr. Zaycosky received his J.D., cum laude, from University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2003, where he was the Senior Managing Editor of the University of Pittsburgh Law Review. Mr. Zaycosky also earned a Certificate in Advanced Studies in Health Law. Also from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2003. In 2000, he received his B.A., summa cum laude, from Saint Vincent College, Latrobe, Pennsylvania.
