Our clients range from individuals to state agencies.  For many years, the practice has historically focused on defending state government in CRIPA litigation brought by the United States Department of Justice and also defending states in ADA litigation brought by private classes of plaintiffs.  When assisting with litigation, our attorneys are available to work in conjunction with the state attorney general’s office or independently.  Our firm also assists state agencies with their efforts to comply with the civil rights laws.  Our firm offers state clients a versatile range of services which, in addition to litigation defense, now include consulting with state agencies as well as training programs to ensure compliance with the ADA and the Supreme Court’s decision in Olmstead v.
